Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan analisis kebutuhan pelatihan dan pengembangan, menjelaskan metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan dan pengembangan, menjelaskan manfaat yang didapat dari pelatihan dan pengembangan, menjelaskan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam pelatihan dan pengembangan, serta menjelaskan metode utuk evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia di PT Beon Intermedia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model analisis data Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia di PT Beon Intermedia dilaksanakan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan pekerjaan dan individu karyawan. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan dan keterampilan karyawan agar dapat menjalankan fungsi jabatan dan tanggungjawab dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah classroom method dan on the job training. Manfaat pelatihan dan pengembangan dapat dirasakan oleh karyawan maupun perusahaan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan didukung penuh oleh PT Beon Intermedia. Faktor penghambat yang muncul adalah kurangnya perhatian manajemen puncak pada karyawan dan kurangnya motivasi karyawan untuk mengikuti pelatihan. Evaluasi kegiatan tidak dilakukan secara formal melainkan hanya dengan sharing session antara karyawan dan para team leader

English Abstract

This study aims to explain the needs analysis of training and development, describes the methods used in training and development, describes the benefits of training and development, explains the supporting factors and obstacles in training and development, and explains methods for evaluating training and development activities of human resource at PT Beon Intermedia. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research, with qualitative approach. Methods of data collection are observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The analytical method used in this research are Miles and Huberman data analysis modeL . The research’s results showed that training and human resource development at PT Beon Intermedia was implemented based on job requirements analysis and individual employees. It aims to improve the knowledge and skills of employees in order to perform its function of position and responsibility. The method used are classroom method and on the job training method. Employees and companies can feel the benefits of training and development. The training and development activities are entirely supported by PT Beon Intermedia. Deterring factors that arise are the lack of attention of top management on employees and lack of employee motivation to attend the training. Evaluation of activities is not done formally but only by sharing session between employees and team leaders

The aims of this study are explaining the needs analysis, methods, benefits, supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and evaluating methods of training and development activities of human resource in PT Beon Intermedia. A qualitative approach was used for this research. Data collection methods include observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research results showed that training and development of human resource at PT Beon Intermedia was implemented based on individual and organization needs. The methods used are classroom and on the job training methods. Both the Employees and company gain the benefits. Training and development aims to improve competency so that the employee can perform better. The training and development activities are fully supported by PT Beon Intermedia. However lack of motivation from some employees to participate in the training and development was also found. Evaluation of activities is not formally implemented, it was done by sharing session between employees and team leaders.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia di PT Beon Intermedia dilakukan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan pekerjaan dan individu karyawan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode didalam kelas dan metode pelatihan pada pekerjaan. Manfaat kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan dapat dirasakan oleh karyawan maupun perusahaan. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan didukung penuh oleh PT Beon Intermedia. Pelatihan dan pengembangan bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi sehingga karyawan dapat bekerja dengan baik. Faktor penghambat yang muncul adalah kurangnya perhatian manajemen puncak dan kurangnya motivasi karyawan untuk mengikuti pelatihan. Evaluasi kegiatan tidak dilakukan secara formal melainkan hanya dengan sharing session antara karyawan dan para team leader.
