  • Now tap on Clear cache

Manually configure dark mode

If you have an Android smartphone with the latest Android OS, i.e. Android 10, you can manually activate the dark mode from the Settings app of the device.

  • Since I use a OnePlus 6T with the latest version of Android 10, I went to Settings> Personalization
  • Tap on Preset Theme
  • Select Dark Tint> tap Apply

Depending on the device you use, go to Settings and check the Display options. You should definitely get an option for dark mode if your phone is running Android 10.

Check dark mode in app settings

This is very simple.

  • Open any option of the Google application (for example, I opened Google Fit)
  • Touch the profile
  • Now tap on the gear icon and scroll down to the last option Theme
  • Tap it to select your choice of theme.
  • Since I want to choose the dark mode, I selected the dark mode and it automatically activates the dark mode.
