Review sheet mask Nature Republic Rose

Happy Friday! I wanted to kick off the weekend with a quick review of Nature Republic’s Real Nature Sheet Masks. I thought I was being super savvy when I bought this gigantic 60 pack of these sheet masks at duty free in Korea. It was only $18! How could I pass it up? It took me an embarrassingly long time to use them up and I’m finally down to my last 1!

You could say these are N.R’s version of the Innisfree’s My Real Squeeze masks. There are a variety of 'flavors’ to choose from- Tea Tree , Acai Berry, Green Tea, etc. The combo pack that I purchased had Aloe Vera, Rose, and Royal Jelly. Aloe Vera and Rose both moisturize and revitalizes skin. Royal Jelly nourishes skin and helps reduce wrinkles. These sheet masks normally sell for about $2 each, but they usually have some sort of promo. Amazon currently sells a 10 pack for $11, which is a great deal! Imagine if I actually bought 60 masks for $2 each- that would’ve cost me $120. I only paid $18!!! Oh the thrills of a bargain!

Was it worth it? Yes and no. The obvious reason it’s not worth it is because 60 is just too many masks for a skin care hoarder to use- I have a gigantic cabinet full of other sheet masks I collected and have not yet opened. You could say, “Just give them to friends and family!” Oh, I did. I tried. None are sheet maskers so they stopped accepting after the first few. It’s not a serious con so let’s move onto the pros!

These masks are more intense and provide better visible results than Innisfree’s My Real Squeeze masks ( I feel like Innisfree’s masks are a much more watered down version.). Each of the masks I used were ultra rich in hydration and always soothed/plumped up my skin. I could always count on it to calm down irritation- especially the Royal Jelly version. The essence used for these masks is much thicker than Innisfree, which is great for treating skin, but the downside is it’s sticky. I have to clip my hair back on days I use these masks otherwise it’s like a fly trap. It was really uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it. The mask itself is made of a thicker sheet of cotton and is cut pretty large for my face, but at least it doesn’t slip!

Overall, I think these Real Nature Sheet Masks are great to try. I prefer them over Innisfree’s as a budget mask if I need to soothe irritated skin. I wouldn’t recommend buying a 60 pack like I did, but maybe 5… or 10. :)

It has a clean scent to it,I love all NATURE REPUBLIC products, because they use naturel ingredient for a gentle formula that benefits the sensitive skin..the quality is amazing. It’s so moisturizing as an essence It has the size of regular sheet mask, the packaging is good 😌

The fit was decent. There was definitely enough room for my eyes. The nose fit well enough. I had to do a lot of folding on the cheeks to get it to fit better, it was pretty big!

The mask sheet was not too thin and not too thick – easy to apply and it adhered well to my skin.

Here is my usual BEFORE (evening) / AFTER (morning):

Review sheet mask Nature Republic Rose

It helped calm my skin and kept my skin looking even and healthy. It was about average in terms of hydration, I would say. Nothing in terms of skin brightening, that I noticed.

I don’t think I would buy this again, just because it was average. I have some Etude House green tea masks or mugwort masks that I favor when it comes to calming my skin, so this one wouldn’t really be necessary in my collection.

Overall, it was decent but not exciting or extraordinary. It was alright. I would recommend it if you love rose-scented products though, it does have a lovely scent!
