4.0 out of 5 stars Great Looks and Value I wish I could rate it 4 1/2 stars but there’s no such option. This is a lightweight, very comfortable watch with an attractive design. The AMOLED screen displays rich colors and good looking text. The screen is readable in bright sunlight and has an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust screen brightness. I love the attention to detail in the design. The size is ideal for small to average size wrists. GPS locks quickly and has been accurate in my tests. The heart rate sensor has also tested well. I compared it against the Garmin Vivoactive 4s and the results were nearly identical. The display is a touchscreen but I appreciate that I can also use the buttons during certain workouts to scroll through the data screens. That’s very useful when running or bike riding. Touchscreen aren’t too practical in those situations. I haven’t tested swimming yet but it does support both pool and open water swimming. You can choose the length of the pool in meters. Even if you have an oddball length pool of 31 meters or 49 or whatever you can set it to that. There’s several watchfaces to choose from and they are designed well. My only complaints or suggestions are that I’d like for more watch faces to be able to be stored on the watch so I can switch between my favorites. Step tracking is a bit conservative, more so for short walks of 20 or 30 steps or less. Step tracking is good for longer walks though. Sleep tracking is okay but nothing to brag about. Notifications come through reliably though the Bluetooth range seems shorter than many watches I’ve tested. Well, before I write a novel just know that this watch does many things well, looks terrific, has great battery life and provides a lot of value for the money. I recommend it if you don’t need all the bells and whistles of an Apple Watch. I have the Apple Watch Series 5 and it’s sitting on the charger as I type this. It spends a lot of time on the charger! I recently purchased an Apple Watch and I ended up going back to the AMAZFIT. The big thing for me is the difference in battery life. This watch comes as advertised and does last 24 days. Apple Watch is about a day. I was also. surprised to see that V02 Max not on Apple IWatch but is on Amazfit which is a metric that I track. If anyone needs to step up there game in wearables, it’s Apple. I can go on, but for $140 you are getting amazing value. Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2021 I have had many different models of fitness trackers from a well known brand, and I have to say, so far the Amazfit trackers/watches blow the leading beand out of the water. I bought a T-Rex Pro for my husband, and was so kmpressed, I bought myself the GTR42. What makes it better than previous ones Waterproof And the usual things: timer/time/alarm/etc. Biggest plus... less expensive than my last leading brand tracker, which had virtually none of these features. The charger is magnetic and I charge every other day. It depends on how much you use notifications and other features. Syncing is easy with Zepp ap. Only negative so far, is the app does not sync with MFP, but hopefully it will with firmware updates. is my first Smart watch. It took me a long time to buy one as I heard many complaints that smart watches have short battery life and need charging every night (I don't have time for that) . . . . until I found this Amazfit Watch that lasts about 24 days, then it captured my interest. I have a medium wrist and wonder if 47mm watch would be too big for me but to my surprise, it is perfect and light and also I love the Titanium color which blends so well with my skin. 5.0 out of 5 stars buena relacion calidad-precio Reviewed in Mexico on January 14, 2021
This is a great watch for the price. Excellent battery life and sharp looking. All the features work very well with no
hiccups when swiping screen. Connecting and maintaining connection not an issue. I had 2 Garmin watches and it was a constant effort to keep them connected. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great display and battery life Reviewed in Canada on January 18, 2020 I`ll call it a intelligent watch not a smart watch since it can only communicate one way...to you...no replies or anything like that...looks good especially the chrome version that I got. Strap is good. Wish it could hold more than 1 user choice watch face. Health/fitness functions are ok I guess., wasn’t really the reason I bought this Amazfit GTR.....I wanted 2 week battery life which is easily obtainable as long as you dont use GPS tracking. Other than the chrome version being nice I think the GTR Lite would be a better (cheaper) watch for me |
