HELP FILE
Update meeting times, audio settings, guests, locations, and more from Google Calendar.
If you are logged into GoTo Meeting, any changes you make and complete by clicking Save are reflected in your account, and can be viewed in your online portal.
Notice: The GoTo Meeting Google Chrome extension is no longer available in the web store. We encourage you to switch to the GoTo Meeting Add-On for Google Calendar.
Modify a meeting
I added to my mac a Google Internet account, and ticked "Calendars".
In the Calendar application, my google calendar and related events indeed appear.
I have been invited to an event created by someone else using google calendar.
This person created this event as being modifiable by guests.
When I visit this event using calendar.google.com, I can edit the event.
But when I open the event using the mac Calendar application, I can not edit the event.
(note: on the mac Calendar, I can edit events I create myself for my google calendar).
note: Calendar version 8.0
To edit the interview scheduled with the Google Calendar integration, you must have one of the following things:
- You must be the original scheduler of the interview.
- You must have "manage/edit" access to the calendar that the event was scheduled on.
These permissions are based on your Google/Gmail account, and not related to your user permissions in Greenhouse Recruiting.
In other words, if another user scheduled an interview, it was likely scheduled on their personal work calendar associated with their specific Google account, which other users can't modify unless they're given specific permissions.
Best practices
If your organization wants to have multiple users modify a Google calendar, we typically suggest creating a shared calendar in Google and granting manage/edit access to all the users responsible for scheduling. Using a shared calendar ensures that multiple people can update interviews if the original scheduler is unavailable. Click here for more information on creating a shared calendar.

Change your calendar spacing and color set
You can change how far apart events and calendar information are spaced on the page.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- In the top right, click Settings Density and color.
- Choose Responsive to your screen or Compact. Compact has narrower borders and spaces. When in Responsive mode, Calendar will pick the event density based on your screen size.
- To change color sets, choose Modern or Classic.
